Cuban food is popping up in more places now than ever before. We found a cozy spot on a quiet street corner on Chicago’s North Side that serves up the authentic tastes of the island. They include all the traditional dishes from roasted pork to chicken and shredded beef with sides of black beans and rice and fried plantains. During lunch, this restaurant can hardly keep up with the orders of Cuban sandwiches. But they may be most famous for the Pan con Bistec. We asked the chef to show us how to prepare this simple but mouth watering steak sandwich.
